Verstand Resources is hiring for a top Nigerian women’s fashion brand. The brand is known for classy designs and neat finishing.

Responsibilities

Meet clients, understand what they want, and draw clear sketches showing the style, fit and details
Show the approved sketches to the production team, explain them, and check that the dress is made correctly
Keep good records of client sketches and requests
Help the Head of Design with new designs and research
Make graphics, social media posts and other marketing materials
Create and edit content for social media and online platforms
Help with photos, videos and video editing
Share fresh ideas for creative work and campaigns
Keep up with new trends in design, social media and content

Requirements

NCE, ND, HND or BSc in Fashion Production, Textile Engineering, Business Management or a related course
2-3 years of experience in fashion design
Good knowledge of fabrics, patterns and how clothes are made
Strong sketching and drawing skills (by hand or on computer)
Must be a fashion illustrator and must show proof of work
Good technical skills and close attention to detail
Good leadership, communication and teamwork skills
Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Creative, with good style, patience, and a professional attitude
